Customizing your Stripe Account
When sending invoices and receipts from your Stripe account, you'll definitely want to make sure that your account has all of the important information about your company set in the Settings section of your Stripe account. All of this information will then be visible on any invoices or receipts you send to your customers.
Customize your Stripe Account
To customize your Stripe account, you'll want to login, and on the landing page, you should see your organization's name in the upper lefthand corner of the screen. You will click on "Settings" at the bottom left side menu, and then on "Account Information" under the "Business Settings" box, here:
This will open up a section where you can add your Account Name and any pertinent business information.
Add your Company Branding
Once you've completed that and saved the information in your account, you can go back to your landing page, and choose "Settings" and then "Branding."
In the "Branding" section, you can upload your organization's logo or icon, adjust the colors you'd like to be on your receipts and invoices, to really make them your own! You can also see previews of what these items will look like with your receipts and invoices 🎉
Configure Emailed Receipts
After you've gotten this set up to your liking, you can head back to the landing page, where you'll see the option of customizing how receipts are emailed:
You can designate when you want receipts emailed, and who you want email replies to go to:
Add your EIN number
Some organizations need a way to customize their receipts so that the company's EIN number is located somewhere on the invoice or receipts. To accomplish this, you will click on the Settings, and then on "Invoice Template," here:
This section will allow you to make sure that everything on your invoices are customized to your liking! If you need to include the EIN number, you can add that in the "default footer" location:
Once you're done, just click "Save" at the bottom, and you should be all set!
