Parent Registration for Aftercare Sessions and Drop in Sessions
To help make your registration experience as seamless as possible, here is a guide to registering for both Aftercare Sessions as well as Drop in Sessions from your Popsicle account! 🎉
Aftercare Sessions:
Some families have consistent schedules that will allow them to register for Aftercare Sessions, knowing that every single Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the Aftercare Session (just as an example) they will need Aftercare for their child/children. Aftercare in Popsicle is set up in a way that makes it very simple to accommodate these types of situations!
Parents can simply log into their Popsicle accounts, and in the Parent Portal, click on the "Activities" option at the left side of the screen, and then click on the "Aftercare" option up above, here:
If you know that you will need Aftercare for example, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday--for the entirety of the Aftercare session, simply click on the "Add" option for each of those days, here:
**Please note--this option will commit your child/children to each day you select, for the entirety of the session, and some schools and organizations may have restrictions on cancellations or changes.
Depending on your school or organization, you may be billed upfront, by the week, or by the month--your school should be able to confirm which billing structure they are using. After choosing the days of the week you need, click on your cart, to check out, here:
In the cart view, you will see the days of the week you have selected, your child/children's name/s who will be attending the activities, the price of each day, the option to add a discount code if you have one, and the option to pay and complete registration, here:
Drop-In Sessions:
Some families have varying schedules or would like to have their child/children attend different days each week, depending on their unique situations--Popsicle can handle this with no problem--whatever you need, we've got you covered!
To start out, you'll still click on the Activities option at the left side of your Parent Portal, and then on the Aftercare option here:
Instead of having to commit to all Mondays for the entire session, or all Tuesdays, etc., you have the option to pick and choose your child's days as needed, by clicking on the "Drop In" option here:
When you click on the "Add" option for Drop In classes, you'll be presented with the option to choose which child you're selecting days for, and a calendar, with all available session days in black font. Once you've selected your child's days, you can choose to add them to your cart:
**Please note--if a day on the calendar is greyed out, this indicates that your child is already on a roster for that day, that the day is a "non-session day" when there is no Aftercare, or it is outside of the Aftercare session start or end dates.**
To complete registration and pay for your child's drop in classes, click on the shopping cart in the upper righthand corner of the screen. You will see your child's name, the Drop in days that you've selected, the box for any discount codes you may have, and the option to complete registration by clicking on "Pay Now":
